Nate is an Innovative Treatment Technician at Holland Biomedical Clinic. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biokinetics with an emphasis in Human Bioenergetics from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. Nate has previous experience in the field of Functional Medicine and a passion for nutrition and metabolics which has led to Nate becoming a published author in the field. He has spent time in previous roles which provided patients with education on topics such as, metabolic pathways of macronutrients (fats, carbs, and protein), hormonal responses to different food types, fasting, stress responses and stress pathways, along with other related topics. During his time at Bethel University he also spent nearly 2 years researching the effect substrate utilization on anaerobic explosive movement.
As an Innovative Treatment Technician at Holland, Nate administers a number of therapies that we provide including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Exercise with Oxygen Therapy, Microcurrent and Ionic Foot Baths as well as assisting with the day to day operations of the clinic.
